3. PURPOSE FOR COLLECTION OF DATA

In order for Hoopla Digital to provide our services and display advertising on our partner websites and other environments we may collect certain information from you. This data helps us to perform a number of essential functions such as;

Limit the number of times you see the same ad,

Authenticate your access to certain features of our Service(s), such as ensuring you see only geographically relevant ads,

Serve ads in a sequential manner (such as a progressive story told via the ads you see),

Measure and analyse the effectiveness and relevancy of our products, services and advertising campaigns,

Ensure our advertising campaigns are displayed only within brand safe environments,

Measure if our ads are viewable to users,

Support and troubleshoot the Service(s) to optimise the functionality across website and mobile app experiences

Unless the advertising and / or partner websites are targeted towards users 13 years and under, we may also use this data to tailor and enhance your online experience and deliver ads that we believe are more relevant to you and your interests. For example, if you have visited one of our sports focused partner sites, or interacted with one of our sports focused ads, we may display sports related ads to you when you visit other sites within our network in the future.

We also collect the data you provide us with when you specifically request and consent to receiving materials related to the ads or services you have interacted with, such as money off e-vouchers, samples or other offers. We collect this data on behalf of our advertising partners. This data may include your name, email address, postal address, depending on the specific offer.
